Exploring INTP regions with the MBTI

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a useful system for understanding the way our brains are wired. Since learning to apply it I have found it extremely illuminating, especially about why I am so drawn to exploring new and interesting territory.

What I've learnt about dreaming big dreams

This week I had the privilege of addressing graduates of a two-year Orientation and Mobility course run by the South African Guide-dog Association. The theme for the day was "I have a dream" and, since I cover the topic of having a dream quite extensively in my book What Every Blind Person Needs YOU To Know, I was eager to share my thoughts.

My first experience of equine assisted occupational therapy

If you are considering equine-assisted occupational therapy, this account of my first session may be of interest to you. Refining the art of conversation from lessons learnt in lockdown

This morning I remembered a pet peeve of mine from university days. I think it was provoked by my reading of Pride and Prejudice in English ...
