This is the story of how, in my fifties, I got back in the saddle to explore the world on horseback in spite of being severely visually impaired. I believe in dreams and in the soul's calling. When opportunity and intention come together, anything is possible. But it all began with claiming the right to do what was buried deep in my heart.
Non-fiction: What Every Blind Person Needs YOU To Know
All people have dreams, including those who live with physical disability. The trouble is, physical disability can block those dreams in unexpected ways. This book is my message to sighted people about how to better understand the hidden dreams of their visually-impaired family member, friend or colleague and help make them real.
Sometimes it's not the disability itself that stands in the way of fulfilling a person's life ambition. The belief that he or she is a burden on others can be an even greater impediment to progress. Changing this belief is vitally important if the person is to feel free to pursue his or her dreams. This book will help you do that.
